Job Overview:
Overview: we are seeking an individual willing to learn to join our wholesale lumber company as non-remote, administrative assistant. The position will coordinate receiving, handling and shipping of lumber products. Courteous phone and emails skills required. Basic Math, computer and organization skills will be useful in busy environment. Competitive pay, health insurance, retirement, non-smoking/non-vaping environment. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with OT available.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Maintain and update office records and files
- Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
- Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist in office management duties, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments for executives
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Suite is a plus
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office is preferred
