Miznon is a growing group of fast casual Mediterranean restaurants led by Israeli Chef Eyal Shani and The Better Guys. Originally from Tel Aviv, the group now operates over 25 restaurants around the world, including 4 outposts of Miznon in New York City. About the Role
We are seeking experienced Front of House Staff for Miznon. This includes, servers, runners & cashiers. These are part- or full-time, hourly positions with an ASAP start date for our locations in New York City. We’re looking for rockstars to join our team for the long run. While you must be comfortable working independently, you must also thrive in a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Rotate between all FOH positions (cashier, server, runner, etc.)
- Take orders and process payments using the Toast POS
- Clearly and politely communicate with guests; engage management for any guest issue or complaint
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, inquiries, and complaints
- Help customers understand our menu, ask clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy
- Manage an expo station, keeping track of dine-in, takeout & delivery and scheduled orders
- Bag and label all takeout and delivery orders, including sauces, napkins & utensils when necessary
- Perform cleaning duties (i.e. bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Execute daily opening and closing procedures/checklists efficiently and thoroughly
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience in a high volume environment
- Excellent communication and hospitality skills
- Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback
- Must be professional, enthusiastic, and excited about our food, brand and story
- Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere, which is crucial to the experience at Miznon
- Knowledge of Toast and third-party delivery apps (UberEats, GrubHub & Seamless and DoorDash & Caviar) preferred
- Experience with Toast is a plus
- Bartending or kitchen/expo experience a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
