Nurse Support Navigator
Job Summary:
Interstaff is seeking a Nurse Support Navigator to join our Clinical Success team. The Nurse Support Navigator will report to the Clinical Success Manager and will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to international nurses during their tenure with Interstaff. This position requires strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a passion for supporting diverse and multicultural nurses. The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing with previous hospital experience, preferably in the United States, and a proven ability to navigate crucial conversations and provide mentorship to nurses. This is a remote, full-time position with occasional travel requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to international nurses throughout their tenure with Interstaff, with heavy emphasis on the first six months.
- Conduct regular check-ins with assigned nurses via virtual communication channels, such as phone, email, and video conferencing.
- Develop and maintain individualized support plans for each nurse, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Offer coaching and mentorship to nurses, assisting them in adapting to their new work environments and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Serve as a point of contact for nurses, providing information, guidance, resources, assistance, and referring the nurse to Interstaff team partners as appropriate.
- Facilitate communication between the nurse and hospital partner regarding any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Success Manager to escalate issues and coordinate additional support for nurses as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of interactions and support provided to nurses.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting our Interstaff nurses.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered LPN or RN in good standing with relevant licensing authorities.
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital experience in the United States within the last 5 years.
- Experience working with diverse and multicultural populations, with a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and competence.
- Experience in travel nursing or international nursing is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to navigate crucial conversations and conflict resolution situations effectively.
- Experience as a nurse preceptor, mentor, or coach is preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Able to travel 3-4 times per year for in-person team meetings.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
