Rush Creek Lodge is looking for an experienced or dedicated Spa Attendants to join our wellness team with the ability to perform all manual labor associate with a wellness spa. We are seeking a Spa Attendant that provides high quality service while creating a welcoming, professional and clean environment for clients. We are looking for someone that is passionate about what they do, bringing a warm and positive attitude to the Wellness team. The Wellness team strives to provide a means for mental and physical health for clientele and staff.
Rush Creek Wellness team works closely with the Recreation Department to create a fun and relaxing environment for guests, offering a variety of activities and services. The Evergreen and Rush Creek’s Recreation & Guide Service provides a variety of services, including expert advice, trip planning, touring, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, fly fishing and coordinating nightly Lodge activities (e.g., campfires, movies, etc.). The Lodges are social enterprises, which have social and environmental goals in addition to their business goals The Lodges strive for positive, long-term impact on our community and environment.
To keep the Spa clean, neat, stocked and organized.
To provide excellent guest service at all times.
1. To keep all areas of the spa neat, clean, stocked and comfortable for guests. This includes:
Dusting
Wiping up water on counters in rest rooms and shower area
Vacuuming or carpet sweeping
Empty dirty linen from baskets to cart and sorting in Laundry department
Empty all garbage receptacles
Stock paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex
Stock soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner
Stock body powder, foot powder, cotton balls and Q-Tips
Keep towels, bath mats and wash cloths stocked from laundry
Make sure lockers are clean inside and out
Keep storage areas neat and tidy
Keep rest room floors free of debris and dry
Chairs should be pushed in
Plants should be dusted and dead leaves, blossoms taken off and thrown away
Two bath mats per shower area
Check if Onox machine is full and operating properly
All lockers should be closed when not in use by guest
Make sure Hair dryers and curling irons are working
Keeping all lockers stocked with a robe and green towel
Be as quiet as possible when in treatment hallways and when opening and closing doors to hallways
Must conduct herself professionally at all times
Attend all Attendant, Spa and All Employee meetings
Any other job related duties as decided and determined by management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
(may hire high school students with high maturity level)
Housekeeping experience
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance to ensure guest satisfaction
Work environment and Physical demands

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions

Frequent walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, climbing stairs

Ability to stand and move continuously

Lifting up to 50 pounds’ maximum

Stocking, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets/bathrooms

Working with required chemicals

Shifts of up to 8 hours per day, plus periodic additional overtime hours
