Overview:
GitHub is changing the way people build software together. We're growing fast and looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with excellent communication skills to support our Chief Revenue Officer.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling calendar, travel, expense reporting, and additional administrative support needs. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for key processes, supporting the needs of the business. You should be detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and comfortable working in highly fast-paced environments. You'll be entrusted with highly sensitive information on a regular basis relating to scheduling and strategic partnerships. Being active and able to make decisions with minimal guidance or communication is crucial to this role’s success. We’re looking for an individual who sees problems as puzzles to solve and is resourceful in their ingredients to the solution.
You will be responsible for overall support of the office of the CRO. This role is based remotely within the United States and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Responsibilities:
Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, for both international and domestic, as well as itineraries and agendas
Provide administrative support to the CRO, including calendar, and expense management in a timely manner
Anticipate the needs of a busy executive and help them be more productive and successful
Proactively resolve time-sensitive issues, demonstrating excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
Manage logistical and operational needs to enable activity across all Revenue Orgs
Schedule cross-functional meetings to drive team collaboration – both internally and externally
Partner with other members of the Office of the CRO to execute on logistics and overall coordination for offsite meetings, both virtual and in-person
Assist with presentations, internal communications, and media communications
Help manage meeting agendas, notes and minutes, and follow-up items in collaboration with the Business Operations Manager and Chief of Staff
Be a liaison and build positive working relationships with Revenue Leadership and other cross functional stakeholders, including finance, communications, HR, Marketing, and IT
Handle confidential information professionally

5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work or executive/upper level management

Experience with administrative and business management tools such as Google Calendar, Google Docs, Zoom, Slack and Microsoft Teams

Experience scheduling across multiple time zones

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this job is USD $58,800.00 - USD $156,000.00 /Yr.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
