We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join an energetic accounting team. The right individual is highly analytical and thorough, has excellent Excel skills, is comfortable analyzing data files, and is interested in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will own various functional accounting areas and projects. The position will report to the Chief Administrative Officer of our company.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
· Participate in the closing process, including completing journal entries, flux analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
· Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and provide monthly closing deliverables.
· Assist in implementing processes to optimize data integrity and process improvements.
· Assist in any accounting-related system implementations.
· Analyze data, typically to support financial transactions or data from the general ledger system, to identify and interpret patterns or trends in data sets.
· Assist with cross-functional and accounting projects.
· Develop and maintain process and control documentation for areas of responsibility.
· Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
· Assist in annual external audit.

Experience and Skills:
2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
· Accounting degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Knowledge of and comfort level with US GAAP and technical accounting
· Robust Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software/systems
· Team player with interpersonal skills
· Customer-service mindset, who is value driven
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking
· Detail-oriented and well organized
· Strong ability to set and follow priorities and organize work effectively to meet ever-changing deadlines.
· Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
