Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data within our database systems.
Responsibilities:
- Input data from paper documents into computer systems
- Update existing data
- Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Proficiency in databases and order entry systems
- Ability to computerize data effectively and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Prior experience in administrative tasks such as filing and data collection
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
