As a Fraud Manager I in Instamed is primarily responsible for logging and tracking payment security and customer related tasks/requests. In addition, the Analyst will be supporting a wide variety of activities in support of our ongoing payment security projects such as process improvements and internal/external audits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Log, track and assist in preparing/completing payment security investigations
- Log, track and assist in remediation of payment security findings
- Log, track and assist in customer screening
- Support requests from hospitals, health systems and health plans for payment security information
- Work with IT, Application Operations, Product, and Contracting to improve payment security
- Manage, prepare and assist in periodic reporting to partners and customers
- Log, track and assist in the remediation of reported/detected security/privacy incidents
- Monitoring various systems/tools and alerts for payment issues
- Help maintain relevant handbooks, documents, and calendars
- Basic ongoing maintenance of Governance, Risks Management and Compliance (GRC) tool
- Identify opportunities for process, systems and application improvements in a dynamic environment architected to solve problems in the healthcare industry
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MIS or equivalent) – Required
- 1+ years Security and Privacy experience (HIPAA/HITECH and PCI) – Highly preferred
- 1+ years Healthcare Payments experience – Preferred
- 1+ years Information Technology (IT) auditing experience – Preferred
- 1+ years Management Information Systems (MIS) experience – Preferred
- 1+ years Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) tool/platform experience
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios
- Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills and computer knowledge
- Self-starter and able to manage small projects independently to completion
- Knowledge of Service Management methodologies (e.g. ITIL, ITSM)
Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
