Client Director / NYC Office Head for Lifestyle Management company
Somerset White's NYC office (< 10 people) in Downtown, NYC is looking to hire a leader for the lifestyle arm of the business. This role will be heavy on travel, events, typical tasks of a high-level personal assistant, client communication and internal HR and Management.

Frequent Client Requests Include; luxury travel research, booking and management, domestic staff recruitment, typical day to day high level PA / EA requests such as restaurant booking, theatre recommendations, ticket sourcing, diary management, supplier research and recommendations, gift suggestions, events management and errand running.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: DOE / Approx. $150,000 / OTE $180,000
Bonuses: KPI Bonus, up to 15% a yr / Revenue Bonus 10% of revenue over target
Hours: Generally 9am to 6pm M-F, plus on call weekends
Holiday/PTO: 22 days (including 5 sick days), 2/3 days closure over Xmas
Work from home: 1 day a week post training in London
Health & Dental Cover: After 3 months
Role Overview
The role of the LD is to oversee and manage the Lifestyle team of 4. The LD will ensure that all requests are carried out to the highest standards, and that SW clients are extremely happy with the service provided. The LD will both undertake client requests day to day and support the team with their TDLs.
A typical day varies hugely but it may include:
o Prioritizing and allocating the day’s jobs across the team
o Team management, training, and development
o Monitoring all client jobs and requests throughout the day and helping with these (small and large)
o Developing client usage through excellently executed proactive ideas
o Managing and executing all high level requests, and larger projects such as travel itineraries and events
o Resolving client mistakes or issues
o Researching new suppliers, meeting them as appropriate
Candidates Must have:
- Have a proven track record and several years senior experience in a relevant industry, preferably luxury travel or high-end destination events, high level PA/EA work, 5-star hospitality etc
- Have an excellent eye for detail and ability to deliver exceptional service
- An understanding of UHNW families and the service levels required
- An in-depth knowledge of NYC and excellent contacts
- Management experience
