**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring healthcare providers meet all necessary licensing and credentialing requirements.
**Duties:**
- Review and verify healthcare providers' credentials and qualifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in compliance with industry standards
- Communicate with providers and credentaling supervisors, both internal and external, to resolve credentialing issues
- Ensure all credentialing processes adhere to managed care organization standards
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately assess provider qualifications
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in hospital physicain credentialing preferred
- Familiarity with managed care organization credentialing processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Education/Experiance**
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
